Colon&Boom Systems; Column Boom is a special machine, which can weld the metal vessels, steel construction in all orientation by various welding methods such as circumferential and longitudinal welding line. Free standing base or motorized travel carriage can be picked by the user according to their requirements. By mounting different welding system, such as sub arc welding, TIG, MIG, SAW etc, the user can achieve fully automatic welding functions, which not only provide perfect welding solutions but also save labor and time.
The Column-Boom Systems, thanks to its automated welding head that is stationed onto the thread in order to provide the necessity welding conditions and with its rotator / positioner gears, are designed to undertake circular or longitudinal welding tasks in independent or joint types.
The Colomn-Boom Systems, with their fully automated manufactured methods, results in increasing the quality and decreasing the production times and the operator fatigue and enables a seamless welding for a longer time that cannot be achieved by an operator in a much precise manner.
Standard Features:
The rotating platform that is mounted to let the Colomn rotate 360 degrees has a feature of manual rotation lock. For the smooth and vibration free movement on a single axis, all horizntal and vertical rails are processed in a precise manner. An inverter driver is equipped for enabling the horizontal movement of the boom and the on - the - rails movement of the Colomn-Boom System in variable speeds. For the vertical movement of the boom, a motor - reducer group with auto-blockage feature is used and in addition a mechanical safety system is attached as well. For precise advance movement of the vertical boom movement, a counter balance system is added inside the Colomn. This system was assembled by using highly durable chains and gears. For stopping all the functions, limit switches are utilized as all the standard safety measures are in place. All cabling are provided via the cable ducts. The power unit of the welding machine is placed onto the most convenient area on the Colomn-Boom cart. The location can be changed optionally.
